Most people use our Quick-Release Aerobars on their road bike, but every now and then someone finds a different application that surprises us.
Chris Langager from Boulder, CO decided that the quick-release functionality would be perfect for his upcoming month-long bikepacking trip through Idaho and along the Great Divide. Chris sent us the pictures below from a shorter shakedown trip he took near Crested Butte, CO in preparation for the big trip. The scenery is not too shabby...
Chris's upcoming trip will take him along the Adventure Cycling Association's relatively new Idaho Hot Springs route, and part of the of the Great Divide between Missoula, MT and Banff in Canada. The aerobars will provide a nice alternate riding position during long days in the saddle!
