I hesitated buying this stem wondering would it work, was it a waste of money but I’ve had three off road rides with my new stem and I love it. I usually get pins and needles in my hands after riding for a while but that’s gone now. Added to the comfort is the improved handling on bumpy tracks and roads. I can ride a corrugated road now without feeling like I will get shaken off the bike. Very happy.

I just finished my first ride with the Resdhift Shockstop Suspension Stem and I noticed the difference immediately. Having ridden for many years with rigid front ends (I’m 64) I now wish I had discovered this earlier in my life. The chatter that it removes from my wrists, arms and shoulders is easily noticed. This experience has been so good that now I’m considering the seatpost Redshift offers as well. The interesting thing for me is that I’ve promoted and sold these products for years based upon input from others. I just didn’t think I needed one myself. Get yourself one! You’ll never go back.

The shock absorber was easy to install and works as described cuts down on the impact. I recommend it if you're going to do gravel, writing and bumpy bumpy roads

Wow, once I got the fit dialed on this seat post I thoroughly understood why everyone was upgrading their set ups with these products. Riding a long distances is what I do for fun and for a living and this seatpost made all the difference in the world. Pay attention to the recommended Sag settings as its key to finding comfort and keeping a proper pedaling extension. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I was a bit worried about the weight of the product. I have been using suspension seatpost on my cyclocross bike with 700x38 and it was amazing how much it improved the gravel chatter. I felt comfortable to attack basically any gravel seated which would be impossible before. Totally worth the weight penalty.

Originally bought it to make gravel rides more comfortable, but it’s such a game changer even for regular road rides. Convinced that i’m gonna have this for all my non full-sus bikes from here on.
Best upgrade I’ve done to my road bike
Upgrading from a Canyon VCLS 2.0 CF to the ShockStop PRO Race post significantly increased my comfort and speed on my road bike on bumpy, potholed roads our Canadian winters wreak havoc on.

I upgraded to the ShockStop PRO Race seatpost and could not be happier. It significantly increased my comfort and speed on my road bike on rough pavement with no downsides / unwanted bobbing, allowing me to And this was going from an already compliant setup - T-lab Omni R3 (titanium) frame on 30mm GP5000 tires, with a Canyon VCLS 2.0 (identical to the Ergon Allroad CF Pro Carbon) post.
