I hesitated buying this stem wondering would it work, was it a waste of money but I’ve had three off road rides with my new stem and I love it. I usually get pins and needles in my hands after riding for a while but that’s gone now. Added to the comfort is the improved handling on bumpy tracks and roads. I can ride a corrugated road now without feeling like I will get shaken off the bike. Very happy.

I just finished my first ride with the Resdhift Shockstop Suspension Stem and I noticed the difference immediately. Having ridden for many years with rigid front ends (I’m 64) I now wish I had discovered this earlier in my life. The chatter that it removes from my wrists, arms and shoulders is easily noticed. This experience has been so good that now I’m considering the seatpost Redshift offers as well. The interesting thing for me is that I’ve promoted and sold these products for years based upon input from others. I just didn’t think I needed one myself. Get yourself one! You’ll never go back.

The shock absorber was easy to install and works as described cuts down on the impact. I recommend it if you're going to do gravel, writing and bumpy bumpy roads

Wow, once I got the fit dialed on this seat post I thoroughly understood why everyone was upgrading their set ups with these products. Riding a long distances is what I do for fun and for a living and this seatpost made all the difference in the world. Pay attention to the recommended Sag settings as its key to finding comfort and keeping a proper pedaling extension. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

United KingdomGreat product for those with hand/wrist issues
It might seem unnecessary buying this for a road bike, but if you’re familiar with UK roads you’ll relate! I’ve suffered with wrist/hand pain for a number of years and have thrown just about everything at the problem. The stem gives a noticeable improvement in hand comfort, even on ‘regular’ tarmac. It’s not intrusive, but it does feel like you’re riding a road bike shod with big mountain bike tyres instead of road ones. I’m even seeing an improvement in average speeds as I’m less impacted by that constant buzz through hands and wrists. Would thoroughly recommend if you’ve suffered like I have!

I purchased my suspension stem, however, because I live in a northern climate, ( lots of snow) I have not used the new stem , hence unable to give a proper review until April 2025, or when the snow cover will be out.

Excellent not only off road but on road with the terrible state of uk roads,my Orro terra c gravel bike is a totally new experience before I was suffering with tennis elbow but now nothing at all,considering putting one on my giant defy road bike definitely recommend.

Great suspension that does what Red Shift say it does. Happy with the increased comfort and control taking out road vibrations and it was very easy to fit and adjust. I've been using the suspension stem for a month now, all seems very reliable.
