Giving Tuesday: We're donating $5/order to rebuild trails in hurricane affected areas

Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, we're donating $5 per order to rebuild trails in hurricane affected areas in the US. The Pisgah Area SORBA & Friends of Alafia organizations have been doing incredible work to support their communities and working to clear trails post-Helene and Milton.

About Pisgah Area SORBA:

"Our mission is accomplished through volunteer opportunities, educational resources focused on environmental stewardship, and advocacy for mountain biking access in order to preserve our natural resources for future outdoor recreation. While our organization is focused on trails which offer mountain biking opportunities, our adopted trails are multi-use, meaning our improvements benefit all trail users. Currently, Pisgah Area SORBA has adopted over 100 miles of trails within the Pisgah Ranger District and the surrounding region.

Pisgah Area SORBA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), the Southeast regional division of IMBA."

About Friends of Alafia:

"Friends of Alafia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is the official CSO (Citizen Support Organization) for Alafia River State Park. Our organization was established by local outdoor enthusiasts in 2009 to protect, preserve, and support Alafia River State Park. Friends of Alafia's mission is to provide resource based recreational opportunities to the public.

In particular, we look out for the needs of mountain bikers, equestrians, and off-road runners or hikers that visit the park. We achieve this through funding construction or maintenance for the miles of biking, hiking, and equestrian trails. We also buy needed equipment, like the park's ATV and Res-Q trailer."
